Location: Sections 14, 15, 16, 21, 22, 23, and 26 of West Heron Lake Township

Project: Formerly known as Jackson County Ditch 17, petitioned for improvement to the HLWD (formerly knowns as the Middle Des Moines Watershed District) in 1978. Clean out and deepen approximately 2.3 miles of existing open ditch, completed in 1980.

Status: The Findings and Order Initiating the Redetermination of Benefits and Appointing Viewers for HLWD Project 6 were approved on December 18, 2018.

The viewers' submitted a draft report on January 10, 2020. The report was reviewed. The revised version was sent to the viewers on January 16.
